It is tempting to think of Him as God walking around in human form, but not really feeling frustration, anger, grief, laughter, and real temptation. It showed he was man. Truly anointed. For that reason, to me, this is the greatest film about the life of Christ. Depicts the final twelve hours in the life of Jesus of Nazareth, on the day of his crucifixion in Jerusalem. But this is just my favorite.I loved the mini series The Bible, and although I have seen many biblical movies and stories of Jesus, in my opinion actor Diogo Morgado did the best interpretation of Jesus I have ever seen. The Bible (and almost all theologies) tell us he was MAN, experiencing human emotions.

He had the horrific Death. I love it!this has to be one of the best.

The amount of detail they put into Jesus and the crucifixion is AMAZING!

This movie speak up my mind.Um yes this is the most accurate depiction of christiansHell no HELL NO! And if he was, everything would be possible. God has truly blessed this film with millions of decisions for Christ after viewing it.This has been the movie of my childhood. It is what I watched on Easter one year.It shows the life of Jesus, his love and teaching. And if we believe Jesus was the Christ, but also completely MAN, then the suffering had to be REAL.

Throughout the film, the casting is excellent - I think particularly of Peter, John and Mary Magdalen; but even the lesser parts are played with absolute conviction.

Should be in top five.If you people don't know what this movie is, then you've been living under a rock. I loved it as a kid and I still watch it every Easter now with my own children.

Ispecially I like the comments of the evil and the answer of Jesus to those comments.King of Kings has been my most favorite movie to watch concerning the life of the Savior Jesus The Christ. The movie was not biblical, it took artistic license but that is fine with me it gives the world a reason to hunger for more. This movie actually shows how much of a sacrifice he made. Not die a painful early death. They didn't believe He was the son of God.I have only watched a minuete of it and I didn't like it. It really shows that Jesus had love for every single person and even for the ones that wrongfully mistreated him even down to the time of his death on the cross. It is word for word and acting is superb. Do I think Jesus actually looked like Robert Powell? In one part for example, They were singning in a garden before Jesus was arrested and crucified and seemed to make fun of the heavy emotions Jesus was probably really going through. Pasolini shows Christ as a Marxist avant-la-lettre and therefore uses half of the text of Matthew. Did Jesus not ask his Father to take the cup of unbelievable suffering from him, if possible.

Even showed anger. AND most importantlyThe most reverential film about Christ I have ever seen.

About ones encounter with the Lord, depicts truly how the Lord loves you and never leaves you. Just really bad.Fantastic, historically accurate depiction of the life of Jesus of Nazareth!

He always Loves You.This is the very Best Movie on the Gospel of John thus far. The devil shows up and is trying to gather souls for Hell. The story of Jesus is told through music with passion you feel to your core.

It drew me in like no other film had done & it made me want to be a follower of Christ, a true believer & a better person. So, gory and bloody and horrible as depicted, it needs to be for us to even begin to understand the sacrifice made by the Father--to submit his beloved Son to such as this--because of God's love of US. In all honesty, from study the true horror of what Jesus endured was beyond what we saw in this movie... but I am not sure they could rate a movie that was any more accurate.
