1.5/5 will be my real rating..There are some decent passages in the book but overall quite pedestrian...Hercule Poirot like gathering of people at the end and throwing an unexpected name as the culprit..the premise of the culprit becoming the culprit is poorly done, if this was not a Chetan Bhagat book, no publisher would have picked it up..The conversations between Keshav and hardcore Kashmir terrorists are like parodies..so simplistic and man even school bullies are portrayed as more menacing.1.5/5 will be my real rating..There are some decent passages in the book but overall quite pedestrian...Hercule Poirot like gathering of people at the end and throwing an unexpected name as the culprit..the premise of the culprit becoming the culprit is poorly done, if this was not a Chetan Bhagat book, no publisher would have picked it up..The conversations between Keshav and hardcore Kashmir terrorists are like parodies..so simplistic and man even school bullies are portrayed as more menacing..Chetan Bhagat writes op-ed columns for English and Hindi newspapers, including Times of India and Dainik Bhaskar, focusing on youth and issues based on national development. This book kept me hooked until the end. Is the story lacks something sure I am not saying it's a masterwork but there is certainly scope for lighters books which you can hash out in a day or two well with my current schedule it took me a little longer to finish it but still I finished it quicker than other books. To avoid being typecast as a cutesy writer adept at silly romances, the author attempts a murder mystery interspersed with half-homilies on Kashmir . While manoeuvring the whirlwind that Keshav gets himself into, Chetan Bhagat skillfully adds in a number of sub-plots.The overall effect is pure entertainment. and one should read the book to know everything about this mysterious character.
