Virgil Riley Runnels, Jr., better known as "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes (October 11, 1945 – June 11, 2015), was an American professional wrestler and booker who most recently worked for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) behind the scenes as a Creative director and trainer for NXT.

Although he lacked the killer physique of a Hulk Hogan or the technical prowess of a Bob Backlund, “The American Dream” had a magnetism that simply drew audiences to him.
