The beginning that Ambar has been wanting to be a musician and until the very end her sister is going to make Ambar's dream happen, I literally love this movie so much! You would think that with ten years of making that the film would have more depth, but instead it is filled with typical cliches and a less than impressive plot line. The first time that I have saw this movie I have never thought that I would love the movie this much!

This movie is a beautiful story about chasing your dreams, even when it seems your whole world is crashing down around you. I honestly couldn't tell if they were trying to bring up topics such as racial stereotypes (papi cuatro) and feminism but honestly if they were, they missed the mark....by a lot. Upon this quest, a family ... It's extremely moving and heartfelt. As a latino myself, I find it hard to watch. I think the worst part was the stereotypical portrayal of Papi whatever dude, very disrespectful,cheap laughs and gags.. As a tragedy shakes their family, they discover that the powerful bond and love they have can overcome anything.
